My first thought is that the BA may be better. I haven’t used zip-together sleeping bags but wonder if they would create dead spots where the zippers join. The BA one won’t. That being said, I don’t know specs, so the BA might be a bigger bag. If the two people using it don’t fill up much of the bag, there may be dead spots either way. I hope that helps.

Any thoughts on how the double would compare to sleeping bags that can be zipped together such as models by GoLite and others?

Congrats, man. I recently accepted a position at a company, too, after a year of maintaining a blog while consulting.
